About Angela

Angela Spease is a dedicated community leader and local business owner from Elk Grove.
Angela and her husband started their first business, Information Systems Security Engineering in 2005. The company provides cybersecurity expertise to a number of private and public-sector clients, including the Department of Defense. With over 17 years in business, Angela and her team have worked to grow their small business, create jobs, and contribute the local economy.
Angela's service to her community doesn't stop with Rotary. She also served as a Director of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, on the Asian Resources Community Services Board, and in volunteer positions with the American Heart Association, Relay for Life, Runnin' for Rhett, and the Elk Grove Multicultural Festival. She is also a co-founder, charter member, and treasurer for The Arts Advocacy Project (TAAP) in Elk Grove.
Angela has worked on some of the toughest issues facing out community in civic leadership positions. As a member of the Cap-to-Cap Community Resources Team, she has advocated for resources and policies to address homelessness, develop affordable housing, and provide supportive services. In January 2021, Angela was appointed the Co-Chair ot the City of Elk Grove’s COVID-19 Response, Recovery and Resiliency Task Force.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Angela has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. Angela lives in Elk Grove with her husband Kevin.
